Apache Tasseled Bag with Pink Rhodonite

This luxurious version of our signature Apache Tasseled Bag is made of beautifully textured Italian leather in warm tan. 

The bag is embellished with our iconic hand carved leather panels with Eagle Feather carving and intricate stamping throughout. The panels have been carefully hand dyed to achieve that rustic finish.

Inlaid into the panels are two pink rhodonite stones from Tamworth, New South Wales Australia. These have been beautifully shaped by Terry at our local lapidary club specially for this piece. The stones display mesmerising warm pinks against an earthy matrix. The back of the bag features carving to match. 

The strap is hand cut to an organic shape that represents a large Eagle feather. It fastens with our signature Eagle buckle in antique brass. Lined with soft leather, the strap is wide and comfortable.

The warm tan suede tassels all around the bag flow and sway smoothly as you wear it, along with the tasselled feather attachment with matching rhodonite bead detailing for that bohemian touch. 

Meanings:

Our original carved Eagle Feather design came about in a process of experimentation. To achieve that stand-out look that is iconic to Buffalo Girl, Terry refused to follow the rules, instead following her intuition and her unique aesthetic sense.

The feathers symbolise strength, courage, and embracing of true, authentic self. The Eagle on the buckle is a powerful symbol of vision and rising above our perceived limitations.
