Apache Eagle Bag with Vintage Navajo Concho

This outstanding Apache Eagle Bag is carefully crafted from soft buffalo hide in warm chocolate brown with beautifully hand tooled leather embellishments throughout. 

On the front of the bag, the intricately stamped Eagle emblem features cut-out detailing and a vintage Sterling silver Navajo concho with six Sierra Nevada turquoise stones as the heart of the Eagle. This emblem is one of Terry's earliest designs and an enduring Buffalo Girl icon. 

The other side of the bag features the superbly hand carved Buffalo, surrounded by classic Western motifs. The Buffalo is again featured as silver conchos on the bag's sides.

The strap is hand shaped to resemble a majestic Eagle Feather and features intricate carving alongside a butterfly Navaho concho with a vibrant Kingman turquoise, as well as a natural turquoise inlay. It fastens with our signature Eagle buckle. 

To complete the design, extra long suede tassels encircle the bag, swaying and flowing gracefully as you carry this striking Western accessory.

The bag comes with a detachable tasseled feather clip featuring some of our cherished large feathers and stone beads.

Symbolism:

The Eagle is one of our favourite design elements. It signifies strength, vision, and rising above our perceived limitations. Turquoise is one of the oldest known protective amulets. It is a near universal symbol of wisdom, strength, and hope, believed to attract abundance and good fortune. The Buffalo is stands for abundance and prosperity.
